Hello parents! Here are we again with an idea to keep your brilliant kids busy. Keeping kids busy with something fun but safe is not easy. Kids tend to attract accidents unless you keep an eye on them. So let’s see if we can find something easy and fun which will keep them engaged and entertained.

If you plan to go somewhere during holidays, then your kids are the ones who are most excited about that. They keep counting days until the day comes. So how about we help them a little in counting days?

We have all tried making paper chains in our childhoods. If you did the same, then you know that it’s really fun making paper chains. Back in the days, we did not have so many accessories; we had to make them naturally just using our hand and maybe some glue. But these days, kids have access to a lot of accessories which are safe. To make a paper chain, you will need a bunch colourful papers. They are available at any stationary stores and will not cost you more than 10 taka per sheet.

Now ask your kid fold the paper in half. And ask to keep folding, in the same way, three times. After that, unfold the paper and cut on the creases with scissor. Help your kid to cut the paper as your kid might not be able to cut it properly.

Take one strip and put both ends together and glue or staple them. Take the next strip and add it to the last one. Keep adding links for the number of days until the vacation. Now, place the chain in a place where your kids will be in charge of it. Tell your kids to take one link down with each passing day; they’ll be happy doing it.

Not just for vacations, paper chains can be used for any events such as birthdays, parties or even to count the days for exams.
