Going on a vacation lets us recharge our “batteries” by disconnecting us from our regular life. When we come back, we feel invigorated and we are happy to be back in our day-to-day routine.

Bangladesh is a beautiful country with lots of amazing places to explore. Bangladesh is the largest delta in the world and one of the most amazing countries in the world with so many variations and attractions all around the country. We have a lot places where you can travel with your family and children safely.

Beach Holiday:

Cox’s Bazaar:

If we want to talk about travelling in Bangladesh, then how can we not mention Cox’s Bazaar, which is the most famous travel destination in Bangladesh. Your children will definitely love the sea beach facing the amazing waves of the Grand Bay of Bengal, miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, rare conch shells, colourful pagodas, and mouth-watering seafood. There is a Buddhist village about 16 km away from the sea-beach containing old artifacts, scripts, relics and a large bronze statue of Buddha. About 32 km from Cox’s Bazaar, Himchari is a wonderful place with broken hills and waterfalls. All of these places can be travelled to within a day by car. You will love to travel to these places with your family.

If you finish travelling in Cox’s Bazaar, and your children are not tired yet, then it’s your turn to visit the St. Martin’s Island. This coral island is about 10 km south-west of the southern tip of the mainland is a tropical cliché, with beaches fringed with coconut palms and bountiful marine life. This island has the most amazing blue water. Far from the maddening crowd, the serenity of this island will help you meditate and purify your soul. This air is so fresh and soothing. And the water is clearer than crystal. If you visit on a full moon night you may end up deciding to stay in this island forever. And seafood here are not only delicious, but also abundant in variation. To go to St. Martin’s Island, you have to go to Teknaf by bus and then you’ll find ferries which will take you to St. Martin’s.

Kuakata:

If you are an early riser and you love the view of sunrise, then Kuakata is the place for you. Your children will love to see the sunrise and sunset from the same place. Kuakata is located in Patuakhali district and only a few miles away to the south from Khepupara. It is the only sea beach in the world from where both the sunrise and sunset can be observed. This 10km long beach is stretched to the borders of the Sundarbans.

But we suggest you to travel to Cox’s Bazar if you are travelling with children as the facilities there are of international standards, whereas Kuakata is still a little underdeveloped facilities wise.
