Playpen celebrated its 40 years anniversary programme on Saturday, 11 February 2017. Playpen started its journey in the year 1977 by Mrs. Zeba Khan. The colourful event began with the speech of Chief Guest Member of Perliament Mr. AKM Rahmatullah. Architect of Playpen school campus also briefed about the school building. The Playpen Centre's Chairman Mr. A. Mannan Khan and Head of School Mrs. Sorabon Tohura also delivered a short speech. A large audience comprising of parents, students and the alumni witnessed a series of performance showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh.
Later Prpfessor Abdullah Abu Sayeed anf Ex MP M A Mannan also delivered speech to the students. In the night programme Honourable Mayor Mr. Sayeed Khokon and Mr. Fazle Noor Taposh also encouraged the students in their speeches. The set was beautifully done. The choreography was age appropriate and very entertaining. All in all it was a magical day and full credit goes to those teachers who had put in great efforts to make it a grand success.
