Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy take us to a magical, adventurous tour all around the supernatural land of Narnia in C.S. Lewis’s renowned book – “The Chronicles of Narnia-The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”.
The chronicle/account of their enchanted life begins when they were sent to an old Professor’s house during wartime in England. While exploring their new dwelling place, young Lucy sneaked into a big coat-wardrobe placed in an empty room. Little did she know that, opening the doors of the big wardrobe would eventually open doors to an entire new world of adventure for all four of the siblings. Little did she know that, they would befriend a talking lion and fight a shrewd witch with his help! And hardly did she ever envisage, being one of the Queens of a magical land. The best way to know about their exciting journey in Narnia would simply be – by reading the story for yourself.
Written in an easy language, the tale can be beautifully pictured in one’s mind. Thanks to -Lewis’s flawless descriptions throughout the story. So, if you are not a regular reader and avoid tough vocabulary, we suggest the book for you. This book is just what you can grab off the shelf to spend some quality time with.
However if you are a Harry Potter fan, this one might not be that appealing to you. Also, for those of you who are avid readers, might not find it up to the mark. But all in all, the tale has a very good story line to captivate one’s attention sturdily and can definitely be a book worth your precious time.
Happy Reading!!
