Lenovo’s launches new line of Yoga tablets

Lenovo has unveiled its new catalogue of Yoga tablets which all have the youth in mind, both in terms of features and pricing and should be available by the end of the month.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro

The 13 inch tablet features a Pico projector and has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) which is powered by a 1.8 GHz Intel Atom Z3745 processor and 2GB of RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage, expandable to 64GB via Micro USD.  It runs Android v4.4 KitKat and promises a battery life of 15 hours, with optional 4G capabilities. Another speciality of the tablet is the Dolby Audio and Wolfson Master HiFi front-facing dual, large-chamber speakers coupled with a subwoofer on the back to provide superior audio quality. Most importantly, the tablet will cost 499 USD only.

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 (8 inch)

At just 249 USD, this 8 inch slate comes with a 1200 x 1920 IPS LCD display and the same Intel Atom Z3745 processor, 32 GB internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. It contains an 8 MP camera and runs Android KitKat 4.4. At just 50 USD more, the Windows variant of the Yoga Tablet 2 (8 inch) can be purchased, giving users extra choice

Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 (10 inch)

Similar to the Windows version of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 (8 inch), the 10 inch Android 4.4 running slate costs 299 USD. It features exactly the same screen resolution and hardware internals as its 8 inch counterpart. However, for 399 USD you can get the Windows 8.1 version of the 10 inch tablet which also includes a Bluetooth keyboard.

All in all it seems like a solid line up of tablets that Lenovo have announced that can be used for fun as well as productivity in a budget.
