Hello parents! I hope you all have found some extra-curricular activity to keep your child engaged. If you did not, then here we are again with another idea.

As a child, like most children, my favourite class was painting. Paintings are a reflection of our mind. So, learning painting could be a good extra-curricular activity for the children of Dhaka.

Art makes us more human; it helps us to communicate in a more personal way. It is helpful for all children and especially for those who have problem communicating or expressing themselves.

It helps to lower stress and nurtures imagination in children. Painting especially helps children with aggression as well.

There are several places offer to teach children how to paint in Dhaka now.

Where to Buy Art Materials:

In Dhaka, art materials are not so hard to find. Even normal bookstores have art materials. But if you want to buy professional materials for your child, then you might need to search a little. You will find professional materials in New Market, and they will not cost you a lot. Watercolour box will cost 1000-3000 taka, a pastel colour box will cost 500-2000 taka. Art sheets cost 10-20 taka per sheet, and a painting stand will cost 700-1500 taka.

Happy Painting!!
