Let, a = b
So, a-b=0………………………… (i)
Multiplying both sides by 2 we get,
2(a-b) =0
2a-2b = 0
From (i) equation we can write that
2a-2b = a-b
2(a-b) = a-b
Omitting (a-b) from both sides we get,
2 =1
Friends, have you got the mistake in this math?
* See, As 2(a-b) =a-b it means that 2(a-a) =a-a or the value is 0. But, in mathematics numbers cannot be divided by 0. So, the process is impossible.
