Hello everyone! Did you try making cold beef at home? You can see the recipe here. Here I am again with some of the quick recipes that can be prepared using cold beef.
Club Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Sliced Cold Beef
- 1 egg boiled/poached
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mayonnaise
- 3 slices of bread
- Sliced Cheese
- Tomato Ketchup
Direction:
- Toast the bread and spread mayonnaise and ketchup on each slice.
- Assemble the sandwich with beef, tomato, and lettuce in one layer. Egg, cheese and cucumber in another layer.
- Cut the sandwich into 4 pieces, diagonally and serve.
Burger
Ingredients:
- Burger Bun
- Sliced Cold Beef
- Onions
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mayonnaise
- Cheese Slice
- Tomato Ketchup
- Chili Sauce
- Black Pepper
- Lemon Juice
Direction:
- Mix ketchup, chili sauce, mayonnaise, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Toast the bread and spread mayonnaise mixture on each side.
- Assemble the burger with beef slices, cheese, onions, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Serve.
Sub Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Hot Dog Bun
- Sliced Cold Beef
- Thinly Sliced Onions
- Grated Carrot
- Grated Cabbage
- Grated Beet
- Thinly Sliced Capsicum
- Mayonnaise
- Tomato Ketchup
- Chili Sauce
- Black Pepper
- Lemon Juice
- Cheese
- Parsley Chopped
Direction:
- Mix ketchup, Chili Sauce, mayonnaise, black pepper, parsely and Lemon Juice.
- Sauté the grated carrot, cabbage, beet, capsicum and onions with a teaspoon olive oil, salt and black pepper for 5 – 7 minutes in high heat. Set aside and let it cool.
- Chop the cold beef and mix with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Toast the hot dog bun.
- Assemble the Sub Sandwich with chopped cold beef and vegetables on top. Serve.
Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 small handfuls of peas
- Grated Carrot
- Grated Cabbage
- Grated Papaya
- Broccoli cut into small pieces
- Cauliflower Cut into small pieces
- Cold Beef Chopped
- Leftover Cooked Rice
- A pinch of salt, or to taste
- 1tsp soya sauce, or to taste
- Spring onions, sliced (optional)
Direction:
- Heat oil in a frying pan, on high heat until hot.
- Pour beaten egg into frying pan, stirring constantly. When egg has cooked a little into a scramble (about a minute or two) add the vegetables, beef strips and stir for a 3 – 5 minute.
- Next add in the boiled rice into the frying pan and fry for three minutes.
- Add salt and soya sauce to taste and fry for another three minutes. Serve.
Cold Beef Wraps/Shwarma
Ingredients:
- Cold Beef Sliced
- Onions
- Thinly sliced cucumber
- Grated Carrot
- Coriander Chopped and Mixed with lemon juice
- Yogurt
- Salt
- Sugar
- Chaat Masala
- Red Chili Powder
- Nan/Paratha/Ruti
Direction:
- Beat yogurt with salt, sugar, chaat masala and Red chili pepper.
- In the Nan/Paratha/Ruti put beef, cucumber, carrot and coriander with the yogurt sauce and roll it. Serve.
