Literature is the best form of expressing and illuminating one’s heart and soul to live life to the fullest, this I learnt from Farahat Miss.

Nowadays students have transformed into ‘robots’ when it comes to epistemic subjects and issues in this era. They, in studies, function in such a perfunctory manner and stay confined upto what they have learnt in institutions that they fail to see what is beyond their knowledge. They fail to see the sublime, the orphic of the environment around us. That is probably why they lose interest in a metaphysical and spontaneous subject like literature.

Farahat Miss taught at our school for eight years and is still teaching. Throughout her tenure of of eight years she has made students realize and come face to face with the beauty of literature which is always missing from our lives. When we first came to her we were raw. She turned us into better writers.  I was fortunate to have learnt literature under her supervision. She has made me realize that literature is not just about a story and what happens to the characters involved in it, but rather it teaches us about the philosophy and irony of life on earth. Earlier literature was just another subject for me to learn and memorise, but after learning from Farahat Miss, I have learnt to divulge myself in literature. Her teaching was not limited to the introduction and conclusion of a novel, but what lay under each character’s thoughts and actions. She has been a great source of inspiration from me. She has encouraged me so much that now I have begun writing stories for my own pleasure and I have also learnt to write literature from the heart.

Her personality has also awed me. A staunch personality who expresses her perspective the way she wishes to. She is always of a sanguine and optimistic nature. I always look up to this quality of hers, along with her confidence.

My bond with her is a cherished and poignant one. I am proud to once have been her student and we are still in contact. She has inspired me to become scripturient and I will always be indebted to her to her for that and also for her remarkable discourse. I wish ur bond stays intact for years to come.
