The Disney Days – I

1386

Those days still vividly flash through my mind today when I scampered about in my canvas-shoes and frilly pink shirts, indulging the chimeras of being Cinderella or Snow White. Honestly, who doesn’t! Disney shows were, at one point in time, our source of relief and our guilty pleasures. The romanticized, fictional world of Disney always had reeled us into its imperfectly flawless illusory dreams and fantasies. Today, even when we have ‘outgrown’ the ‘Disney phase’ and Disney channel has gone off-air, we still sometimes yearn for those cute, children’s dramas and movies to whisk our mind off the worries brewing in the real world. So here’s a toast to the Disney shows of the old golden days.
